Jubilee Year Events - What We've Been up to
Friday 24th January 2025, Jubilee Launch day - Whole School Celebration of the word
Our primary school was alive with joy and meaning as we celebrated the Launch Day of the Jubilee Year, embracing the theme "Pilgrims of Hope." This special occasion brought the entire school community together creating a day filled with learning, faith, and creativity.
The day began with a Liturgy and Celebration of the Word, where students, teachers, and staff reflected on the Jubilee theme. Through prayers, songs, and readings, we explored what it means to journey together as "Pilgrims of Hope," nurturing a deeper understanding of hope, love, and unity. Each child was invited to think about their own role in spreading kindness and faith throughout their daily lives.
The celebration concluded with a special blessing, reminding everyone of their commitment to living as "Pilgrims of Hope" in the year ahead. The air was filled with gratitude, laughter, and a renewed sense of purpose as we launched this Jubilee Year with hearts full of faith and hope.
This joyful and meaningful day brought our school family closer, sparking a collective commitment to live out the values of the Word. As we journey through the Jubilee Year, we hold on to the reminder that we are all Pilgrims of Hope, walking together toward a brighter, more loving world.
Friday 24th January 2025, Jubilee Launch day - Wearing bright colours
Our school community embraced a vibrant and joyful start to the Jubilee Year, celebrating the theme “Pilgrims of Hope” with creativity and excitement. The day was made even more special by the bright colors worn by all the children, inspired by the beautiful and symbolic Official Jubilee Logo.
As the children arrived in their colorful outfits, the school grounds became a sea of brightness and energy. Each hue reflected the vibrant spirit of hope, faith, and unity that the Jubilee Year represents. The Official Jubilee Logo’s bold and uplifting colours served as a guide, with students proudly showcasing shades of red, yellow, green, and blue—each one symbolizing joy and the promise of a hopeful future.
As we journey through this Jubilee Year, we carry with us the memory of this colorful celebration and the reminder that together, we can be symbols of hope for one another and the world.
